In the Beverly Grove neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA, there’s a lifestyle store named Kitson that has been a fixture for decades. Owner Fraser Ross has hosted a variety of clients there. A veritable list of who’s who, including Britney Spears, who dropped in for a 2 am shopping spree just before being committed. The late Kobe Bryant was also infamously pictured purchasing bracelets there to apologize for cheating on his wife.

Attracting clients like these means the shop has also drawn plenty of would-be criminals. Tired of the lack of action by the city, Ross is taking a different direction with his response and is going to the internet. Posting up the security store images plus the social media profiles of suspected thieves, he is showcasing their attempts to shove merchandise into bags and other areas.

Knowing the authorities don’t care about these crimes, he calls out people like Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA). He tells people on Instagram that they can make a difference in crime in California, and they need to use it. “Remember this when you vote. You steal from us, we expose you to your friends, neighbors, family, and coworkers.”

Back in 2020, Ross had this same energy when he decorated his window front with Time magazine covers that showed COVID fearmongers in a negative light. Former Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti (D), Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Hunter Biden, and the top COVID tzar Dr. Anthony Fauci all got their own cover, and it attracted a lot of attention. As did his August 2020 refusal to follow the masking recommendation since it led to an increase in theft at his store.

Putting the criminals on full display was something we once did as Americans. We told one another that these people weren’t to be trusted. Now we just declare them Democrats and they run for office.
